I registered for shaw academy courses as it said was free but i stopped the process when they asked for credit card details. After 15 mins i got a call from a uk number but i didn't pick up as my number is new and nobody has it yet. Shaw Academy- abandoned a sign up, as it felt dodgy trying to make me attach payment details for a "free" course then opted out of all the emails /contact and then recieved this phone call that rang and quickly hung up.

Like many other comments- registered for a free online knitting course, stopped application as soon as it asked for credit card deets. I'm in NZ so I guess there was a delay with a phone call compared to others because if the time difference. Didn't answer, I missed the call.

Shaw Academy. Very annoying. Advertising with a free course, then asking for credit card details, so I broke off the process. Received tonnes of spam from them since and now they're even calling.

Answered it, but because I noticed it was a call from the IK, I didn’t respond...I just let them hear dead air. Looked up the number afterwards and Shaw Academy...and like others, I too stopped the registration process asked for a credit card. If it’s free, why ask for a credit card? Spamming my email now...unsubscribed...will see if that works!
