Details @ vtext.com, TexttoLandline". The 815# is CVS PHARMACY. I called them and they have no idea what this text to land-line is. I am probably hacked now.

They used a local number to mask the call from Turkey. My guess is they are computer hackers. But what are they trying to do? Maybe they want to sell me aluminum siding? or a mountain property?

I left an earlier review and did not realize that the incoming call had spoofed my local area code. As mentioned in my previous post this call originated from a Turkish landline.

I did not receive a call. I was calling a local number to someone I know that had traveled to India. This person was due back and has not returned. I was calling to confirm a sub teaching job he had accepted starting in late October. When I placed the call it went to this other number and I had to pay .25 cents for that call to go through. Still did not reach the person trying to reach. I thought the message to pay was from xfinity and I looked the number up on the internet and there are lots of reports that look bad and I hope paying that .25 census not bad for me. When I paid There was nothing to indicate I was not paying to reach the number trying to reach.

Receive periodic text messages from this number saying that I’ve texted a landline number and asking me to subscribe to their service to text to the “landline.” I’ve never texted the landline number, but this scam associates my contact’s home number (landline) with the mobile number I actually texted to generate victims.

The number popped up as 423-228-6162 on my cell phone, but when I went into the messaging app of my phone to send an automatic "I don't answer calls I don't know" text, I received an instant reply from Verizon that this was a landline, and the number at the top of the text message app generated 900080004222 (preceded by the country 3-digit long distancing country code), which I have since discovered is Turkey.

I found this number on my Samsung smart phone. The "caller name" just said "Turkey." It was the very first call I got. I did not reply. Then it appeared again today. I searched the internet and found this site and deleted the calls from my phone and also blocked it I never answer call where I don't recognize the number or caller.
