Received three text messages from this number claiming to be from AT&T saying I "may be eligible for the Federal Government Affordable Connectivity Program" and then encouraged me to click links. The first time I received this text, I deleted it. Second time I ignored it. Third time, I wasn't just suspicious, I was annoyed. Looking it up online to make sure I'm okay to block this number, this number is known to AT&T as a scam; I have no doubt if I clicked that link, they would have asked me to sign in and stolen my information.

Just go to att.com/playHBOMax and sign in using your AT&T user ID and password to start streaming. Compatible device req'd" Every single day for about 2 weeks until I blocked the caller.

Message directs the user to a link to a phishing site to collect the user's account information. Do NOT click the link or reply to the SMS.
