these spam people spoof the caller ID and always mention that you applied for a loan and they are waiting for additional info. Of course it is all a lie. The purpose of the call is to sell you a loan. if you ask them who they are and the company they work for, they will quickly hang up because they know they can be sued for calling numbers on the do-not-call list. Just don't pick up.
