I just got this call today. At first, I thought the guy on the other line was just promoting a limited-time deal and was explaining how it worked, but then he suddenly said that he just confirmed my purchase of $218 worth of tickets via the payment method I used in my theLotter account. I immediately confronted him about it, and his tone changed from friendly to being very pushy and borderline gaslighting that I didn’t understand what he was talking about. I’m glad I stood my ground, because he backed off and my account was not charged.
